During the last years the field of Regenerative Medicine is rapidly expanding. Key applications in Regenerative Medicine are the so called Advanced Therapies.
In December 2007 the regulation 1394/2007/EC was published defining all products for Advanced Therapies as Medicinal Products (Advanced Therapy Medicinal Product, ATMP). With that regulation ATMPs fall under pharmaceutical law and manufacturer of ATMPs face high regulatory demands.
According to these new regulations PAA has recently launched the new product line called Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMP-Ready) in Europe. With this product line offers cell culture media, reagents, buffers and sera which are produced under the highest available standard.
